Did my makeup like a mermaid today and I love it! Yay! I used my too faced liquif-eye palette for this look, too faced shadow insurance eye primer and Nyx lipstick in Sky Pink!

Baron's Rose

Oh my how I love this lipstick! It's so dark but so beautiful. Simply elegant and gorgeous. Lime green nails today!

Franken-Mani/Watermelon Rind

Recently wore watermelon rind from china glaze and did a franken-Mani with china glaze's instant chemistry and on the rocks from Sally Hansen's hard as nails to match the ball gown I wore to an event! My dress had a gradient and it's pictured below.

As always ended it with seche-vite! And began with CG self adhesion base coat!

So yesterday I used one of my FAVOITE nail polishes ever... it is one of the ones that turned my love for polish into a complete addiction. The OPI original DS that is that purpley holo that is just well simply GORGEOUS especially in the sun.

Urban Decay Summer Lovin! (MOTD)

 I woke up after the heat wave yesterday and felt the sun shining through my window and wanted to do a look that embodied that neutral and sultry but still casual feel of summer! (I realize it is still Spring but it seriously feels like Summer!)

More manis from the past!

My Easter Mani... it's a mixture of Pure Ice, CG, OPI, and Sally Hansen...

Both of the above are one of my favorite nail polishes of all time! China Glaze's Harvest Moon from the Hunger Games collection!

This last one was a friend's orange polish from Avon I am not sure of the name but the way the polish went on in one coat was AWESOME. I used SV as a top coat as always.... 

Before starting this blog... I took pictures of my mani's every day and texted them to my mother who started my love for polish. She only paints her toes but I used to fawn over all the different shades she had and reveled in soaking my feet and polishing my toes after a relaxing soak! So I thought I'd share a few of my pictures that I've taken recently... :)

Today was over 90 degrees F in Massachusetts... which is the warmest it has been since last summer! A few of my friends and I had the day off from classes thanks to Patriot's Day! I went for a swim in this lake type waterfall area that is absolutely GORGEOUS. We saw some wildlife and went for a dip in the surprisingly comfortable water. I expected it to be much colder! I did my mani before leaving for a swim!

  I did this in the car... so this isn't the neatest manicure... but it'll do! I'll clean it up later with some q-tips!
